Angela and Nicolaas needed distinctive wedding invites to match the style of their DIY, black&white themed wedding that took place in a South African rose garden. The result was hand-printed invitations with a custom rose-inspired monogram — printed in white on black and craft papers.
Rose pop-up template by Rich

Papers: Utrecht American Master's, 250gsm, 90lbs, black; Canson red; and Natural Kraft

The groom was the one that suggested we make the rose a pop-up. The bride researched the templates. The print run was 160 invitations - Manuel hand printed both the envelopes and the invitations. Bride and groom assembled all the invitations once they cut the rose petals with a cameo printer. The bride hand lettered each envelope.
I am happy to report that the bride and groom are still best friends with the designer/printmaker couple... even after the project's completion.
